8th Street Construction in West Des Moines

UNDER CONSTRUCTION - 8th Street

Please be aware that the construction of 8th Street in West Des Moines is resulting in detours. This will affect many UCS Healthcare clients and employees.

The City of West Des Moines (WDM) will reconstruct 8th Street between Center Street and Clegg Road during the 2023 construction season' The public will have access to all businesses and restaurants along 8th Street throughout this major reconstruction project.

Large electronic message boards will notify everyone of staging changes. During the project, there is also a posted detour along l-235/HWY 28/Ashworth Road/22nd Street.'
