Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program(MMT)

The MMT Program is a medication assistance program for treatment of opiate addiction. Methadone Maintenance is NOT for pain management. Anyone interested in becoming a client of the MMT is required to meet specific criteria relating to Opiate Dependence. Intakes are done on a scheduled and first come first served basis, priority of need concerning method of use and pregnancy.

Dispensing Hours:

 - 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Monday through Friday

- 6:00 a.m. to 7:45 am Saturday & Sunday

**Doses will only be held in case of extreme emergency if we are notified no later than 7:30 a.m. If we are notified after 7:30 a.m. your dose will not be held. Oversleeping, car trouble, and bad weather are not considered emergencies.

Methadone Counselor Hours:

6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

- 6:00 a.m. to Noon on Saturday & Sunday

Physician’s Hours:

By appointment only.

Individual Counseling Hours (by appointment with assigned counselor): Note: Not all counselors are available during ALL times listed below.

- 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

- 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday & Sunday

Administrative Hours:

Monday –Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

- Saturday & Sunday 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

Methadone Maintenance Fees

Fees for counseling and group services will be determined by using a sliding fee scale. You will be asked to provide proof of income before admission to the program. If you meet eligibility criteria, you may be financially subsidized by the State of Iowa, Department of Public Health and the Federal Government for part of the cost of treatment. Medicaid and some private insurance are accepted (please call your insurance provider for pre-approval) If you are in the private pay program you will pay a flat fee of $10 day or $60 week that includes all dosing, UAs and counseling.
